Who Do You Know Wants to Live in Maplewood?

Maplewood - Community Profile

The City of Maplewood is centrally located in mid-St. Louis County. It is bordered by the City of St. Louis to the east, Webster Groves to the South, Brentwood to the west and Richmond Heights to the north. With only a 10-15 minute drive to downtown St. Louis or Lambert International Airport and 5 minutes from Clayton, Maplewood is a prime location for everyone. Oliver & Beth Love of 7720 Folk Ave. couldn’t agree more. They enjoy summer BBQ’s in their large backyard while sipping cool drinks and chatting with neighbors.

Neighborhood Spotlight

Maplewood expresses its spirit of neighborliness in a variety of community clubs and activities and the Shakofsky Team has their favorite picks.

Ryan Shakofsky, Realtor and team leader says his favorite part of Maplewood is Reeds American Table located only a mile from 7720 Folk Ave.

Kevin Davis, Realtor, loves to take his daughter to the Boardwalk Waffles & Ice Cream in Maplewood, and who could blame him. I mean, who doesn’t love waffles & ice cream? The Boardwalk is also located only a mile from 7720 Folk Ave.

Of course, great restaurants and desserts is not all that Maplewood has to offer. I personally love the Maplewood Dog Park. This year memberships will be on sale beginning Wednesday, January 10th at Maplewood City Hall. It’s not just a dog park though. Maplewood Dog Park hosts many events and get-togethers for humans and dogs alike.

Real estate consultant Ryan Shakofsky at Coldwell Banker Premier knows home style better than anyone. When he first saw Oliver & Beth’s vintage brick home, he was struck by the updated kitchen and bath. Homes aren’t built with the architectural charm and grace of this era anymore. Gorgeous vintage all-brick home with details like glass block windows, hardwood floors, and stone fireplace were left intact during the recent updating so you have the best of both worlds. The eat-in kitchen is dressed with granite counters, light cabinetry, pantry, and a large glass block window allowing soft natural light but maintain privacy.

I love that this home is centrally located to all the trendy restaurants and shopping in Maplewood. The backyard is large enough to host summer BBQ’s and get-togethers, and since it’s fenced in, pets and kids can play safely.

Bathrooms and kitchens are always important, and both of these are spacious and recently updated. Original charm is intact with large glass block windows and hardwood flooring. The original stone wood burning fireplace located in the living room is perfect for cozy winters.

Are you ready?

Bottom line, if you are looking to buy a home in Maplewood, then 7720 Folk Ave. is the perfect solution. Style, timeless beauty, neighborly community, and walkability all prevail in this neighborhood.
